Welcome message from the Dean

In its 50 years of history, the School of Civil Engineering of Valencia has become a benchmark in training and research in the field of Civil Engineering in the Region of Valencia. Our graduates have provided valuable input for those companies and institutions in which they have worked. They are part of the work teams in charge of innovation, planning, design, construction, maintenance, operation and management of the infrastructures requested and needed by our society. Our alumni are not only visible in our country. They have also been able to attain their goals all around the globe. Our international accreditations, together with our mobility and exchange programmes with international partners are proof that we are among the best schools of civil engineering in Europe, and probable in the world.

From these lines, I would like to invite you to get to know our School a bit better, our programmes and facilities, but also our best asset: people. A comprehensive education for our students is the goal around which our school revolves, with the steady support from our teaching, non-teaching and research staf. I encourage you become part of this project which has not only has a brilliant and a solid present, but also a thrilling future ahead.
